Alicia Monroe is Connie Beauchamp's half sister. Alicia hasn't seen Connie since she was 16 and now she's 26 and is going to be an F2 at Holby City Emergency Department. Alicia wants Connie back in her life as she has no one else and misses her terribly. Alicia has problems that have been building up for a while and the only person she wants to tell is Connie. The whole reason she applied to be an F2 at Holby was because she had hired an investigator to find her sister who said that's where she worked. 
Connie is with Jacob and has a 17 year old daughter Grace and a 12 year old son called Charlie. Connie really misses her younger sister Alicia but didn't think Alicia wanted her in her life. Connie had told Jacob about Alicia but neither Grace or Charlie knew she existed.
