There is a certain elegance in the
 Darkness;
 There is a certain beauty in the
 Shadows.
The whole world is painted 
in shades of grey,
There is nothing Black & White.
                                                                                  

Sometimes the most evil
& sinful things,
are the most appealing;

Eve would never had eaten
a rotting apple;
The Devil would never have be jealous 
of an ugly creation.
                                 
The Apple was beautiful...
and so was Man.

Before I could comprehend what was happening, I slowly leaned towards him and gave him a gentle kiss on his lips. It only lasted a couple of seconds, but it was enough to tell him that he wasn't alone. Every word was drawn out of me like a hot wire- some fast, some excruciatingly slow. This collection is very personal to me... Apfel (the German word for apple) marks the beginning of a stage in my life: depression. October to November 2017. This was not about...me; it was all about the other side: the change, the loss, the gathering tidal wave and - and the inevitable. "It's better than keeping it all bottled up"... they say. "You have an outlet" safe; not their responsibility. But they don't think you understand... I bottle it up in poems. Each one charged with aeons of hurt. Each one pushed under the carpet. I always hide away and run from my problems and when I face them create a greater mess than before. That's why I never read them over...until now. I was scheduled to die in less than 24hrs from now. And the person who conspires to put me out of my miserable life is the one who put me through hell. His hell. My husband. I didn't mind dying. I was rather happy to finally get this thing over with. You know, get over life. But just when I was ready to rest in peace, I met her. Her beautiful blue eyes glittered with tears bringing light to this moonless night. The cold breeze brought a shiver to her fragile tiny body. She looked nothing less than a porcelain doll, delicate and clean. But she scared me when she looked at me with hope. Hope to save her. I laughed at this naive little girl. How was I to save her when I couldn't save myself? Nevertheless, I extended my hand for her to take, and with some hesitation, she wrapped her whole hand around my one finger. First time in my meaningless life I felt a spark. Spark of life enlightened in me with her one innocent touch. I should get dressed. He putted his hands on the kitchen counter leaning towards me as my breath quickens and heart is racing from the proximity of my body. He winked and said you should... Yes.. And why I am not moving. Damian - is there any problem, Ms. Angelina. Angelina- no Damian - but you are blushing. Angelina - and I hate myself for that. I slightly pushed him. Please you are too close to me. Damian - am I making you uncomfortable angelina What happens if two different personalities meet. Will they stay or apart. Read it further to know the story.
