Ireland's eyes flashed open, and she sat up. Beads of sweat ran down her face, as she scanned the room. A flash of light shined in her eyes, as she glanced at the gleaming metal bars in front of her. Ireland grit her teeth in frustration. The lab. I'm back at the lab, she thought, her hopes diminishing. Ireland sighed, and layed back down. She used to think that being dead would be better than being like an animal in a cage, but after the crazy things she saw and felt in that dream... she just didn't know anymore. She slammed her fist against the floor of her cage, angrily. Sounds of metal rang through the dark room, causing startled cries and moans to exit the other hybrid's mouths. They were scared. Just like Ireland was. So, she couldn't blame them. No one at the lab was safe. And no one ever would be.
