Two people - seemingly human - have lived for thousands of years, perhaps even more. They used to fight wars and rescue countries but now they have no reason to fight. Their love for fighting never left them, however, and they began fighting amongst themselves. They call it a "duel", a "spar", just "another kind of game", but to their human friends and 'Shaghals', it just seems dangerous, reckless, and unnecessary. Will the two, under the group name X, keep fighting for fun, or will real battles soon begin to keep them busy?

The Shelter
No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond.
