The Broken. Not much is heard from them. People with the broken past, broken minds, broken hearts, broken souls, broken lives are separated from the people who seem average, happy, healthy, normal. The Broken live in a different society, a different environment. A dystopia created by the government. You as one of the characters will be sent away from your normal life to live with The Broken. You make 6 friends, people who are very different from what you're used to meeting. All of you plan to escape, but how will you manage to escape the walls that trap The Broken in this dystopia?

Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything. Todd and Shai are two friends living out of the Slums. They like to pretend to be rich and sneak into the cities to try and steal. Todd is caught one day, and sent to a camp. Shai is determined to do something no Rat has done before: break a Rat out of a work camp. She comes across Mikko, a man kicked out of the city for using outlawed technology. He agrees to help Shai if she helps him uncover the missing Prince so that he is allowed back into the city.Complete
