The simplicity of a normal routine can often be used as a security blanket. Occasionally life strips our security blankets from us entirely. 

 Life isn't meant to be taken in silence, yet Leia Walker goes through every day as if trying to hide herself from the world. Every task completed, is simply that. Another box ticked off her checklist.

However Leia's bubble is popped when she learns about the reality of what she thought to be the phenomena of teen fiction, as an old friend is reintroduced to her life. A gruesome event proves what Leia is scared to learn - her friend Sophie Vidali is indeed a vampire.  

Forced to go on the run with Sophie, Leia's life is turned in a completely new direction when they're hunted by vampires and hunters alike. The only thing preventing them from losing themselves along the way is their friendship; their bond.
