Angelina Taa’malesi has always been that girl. She’s that girl who is overly busy, never has time for herself and overworks herself. She’s that girl who is the last person you’d think would have secrets. She’s that girl who’s always there for her friends whenever they need her. To everyone else she’s that girl that has the perfect life, perfect friends, perfect everything. But looks are deceiving. Like everybody else she has a past. But hers is different. And dangerous. Drew Anderson is the school’s bad boy. He thinks Lina Taa’malesi is the school’s nerd and knows nothing about parties and social things. He also thinks that she’s a spoiled brat and can get anything she wants in a snap of her fingers. But boy is he wrong. Way wrong. What he doesn’t know is that outside of school, she’s the life of the party. What he doesn’t know is that she’s the one that throws the killer parties that everyone would die to go to. What he doesn’t know is that worse things have happened to her than him. But of course he doesn’t know since she hides herself from everyone at school. So when Drew and Lina get paired up for an assignment he’s going to discover that she’s nothing like he thought she was. In fact she’s the complete opposite. After all he doesn’t know the real Angelina.

Summer

Summer is intoxicatingly beautiful and she knows it. Everyone wants to be her. Everyone wants to know her. What no one understands is Summer is not as perfect as she seems. Not by a long shot. And trying to hold it all together is like silently suffocating inside her own head. Until she somehow stumbles into Ace, who is as beautiful as he is cruel. He takes what he wants and doesn't care how he gets it. Pushing people away is what he knows and no one dares to get close enough or else they might get ripped to shreds. Summer doesn't trust Ace. She doesn't want or need him. He's frustrating, stubborn and doesn't care about anyone but himself. But a part of her can't help but feel drawn even as destructive and explosive as he seems to be.
