"She was here! She wanted you! You're her boyfriend for pete's sake! You're supposed to be here for her! And who was here when you weren't!?" Phil shouted at me. 

"I know! I know I messed up!" I yelled. 

"Then go fucking apologize to your girlfriend and comfort her because right now, she needs you." Then he walked away. I knew Phil was serious because he almost never swears. 

I felt terrible. I wasn't here when Am needed me. I fucked up big time. I started running. I ran all the way to her apartment. I need to make things right. 

I love her.
