Helpless- A Lams Modern AU Fanfiction

Alexander Hamilton has transferred from Nevis and is now attending Jackson High School in New York as a junior. He's unsure of himself and a little worried about his future- until he meets John Laurens.

John is sliding through school, more interested in turtles and science than in girlfriends and parties. What if having a girlfriend isn't right for him after all- what if he's different?

Peggy Schuyler can't believe her luck. She's only a sophomore, living in the formidable shadow of her older sisters, and somehow she's managed to be the girlfriend of John Laurens- the cutest guy in the grade. The two may not last for long, however.

Set against the ever-changing backdrop of a modern high school, our characters face challenges as they come to terms with themselves, life, and one another. They might just learn some interesting things about each other on the way.
