As the two begin an unlikely friendship, Asa learns of his Hebrew heritage from Delilah, and also of Delilah's not-so-beautiful life that is full of anger and violence. As he digs deeper into Delilah's past and is confronted with unfortunate family matters, Asa is thrown into the middle of a world he's never known before. A world, were he has a purpose, and a big one too.
