Lukas Bondevik's whole life changes the day his parents died. Suddenly, he's being raised by his older sister and taking up jobs to help with expenses. He thinks nothing could get worse when he has to drop everything in his home country of Norway and immigrate to the Floridian town of Palm Falls. However, when he meets Sorina, things start to brighten.
Sorina's story is complicated. She doesn't know what home really is due to moving from country to country every few years. Her parents have told her they're done moving, but she can't help but push people away. When she's assigned to show around a new student from Norway,it surprises her to find out she doesn't want to push him away, she actually wants him to stay. He feels like how she believes home feels.
(Yes, very cliche romance fanfic description.I KNOW. But it's supposed to be romance so... Anyways, there'll be actual plot too, not just mushy gushy stuff.)

You have 3 main Viking tribes, The Bondevik tribe which is based on magic, but you also have the Køhler and Oxenstierna tribe, they are based on the strength of their men. The Køhler and the Bondevik tribe have an alliance which meant that the two soon to be tribe leaders are very close. Not far from the other two tribes is the Oxenstierna tribe. Berwald is the new leader of this tribe after his father became too old. The Oxenstierna tribe and the Køhler tribe have been enemies for as long as most can remember. Berwald's first plan is to drive Matthias [Denmark] and Lukas [Norway] away from each other so he can form an alliance with the Bondevik tribe and destroy the Køhler tribe.
