I nudge him gently and he turns to look at me. "Thanks." I say quietly, playing with my fingers.

"You could have seriously gotten hurt." He says angrily, slamming his fist onto the pavement. I flinch.

"I know." I say softly, shifting in place. "I don't regret it."

He glares at me before enveloping me into a hug.
