While trying to help Elena with her grief for Damon, stopping the great Warlock Malachai Parker, joining the ship between Josette Parker and Alaric Saltzman and meeting Mama Salvatore. The Mystic Falls gang also has to face the endless excitement from the Vampire fangirls. 

The fans see the Vampire Diaries season six characters as great celebrities from their favorite TV-show. 
Magic amazes them, Vampires excites the fans and blood doesn't scare these people away. 

The TV-show heroes don't know how to react to the sudden fame they get and question if everything that they were doing, everyone that died was just a cheap show.

How will they deal with this, without knowing where all this attention comes from?

In the town of mystic falls it's always been a quaint town but what some people don't know is that for decades it has been the home of supernatural beings from werewolves to witches to vampires. Although the vampires had disappeared from the town, the werewolves seemed to gone extinct, but the witches stuck around. Especially the Black family who are one of the most powerful witch covens to date, but when vampires come back into town, the signs of it are a whole lot major for them then the town, especially when the Salvatore brothers start sticking their noses in their direction. Where Damon the brooding, destructive older brother who's there to what seems to only cause trouble finds his eyes and himself drawn to the youngest witch both of them end up asking themselves why, especially when their species are supposed to be enemies.
