When Merlin accidentally unleashes a Goblin, he has no idea how to stop it from wrecking havoc around the palace. Thankfully, Kiara has more knowledge about magical creatures than most - but when the creature takes over Gaius' body, even she is unsure how to proceed. Will the pair of them be able to stop the Goblin, before it gets Gaius killed?

Merlin has to discover his gifts on his own, with no one to help him but his Uncle Gaius. What would have happened if he had a Druid leader-to-be guiding, teaching and assuring him at all times? Kiara had to leave her people when their home was attacked by magic-hating knights. Now she lives in Camelot, and is making sure that Merlin will fulfil the prophecy. Can she help to change the future?
