Everybody has dreams, some big and others small, but everybody has them. Some dream of being a doctor or lawyer to appease their overbearing parents and others dream of finding love or even getting out of a bad relationship. None of the above was for Neeva though. She often dreamed of leaving her base that was overcrowded and, well, downright boring. She hated staying in one place and felt alone, even with all the survivors that were around her. The only serenity that this 18 year old found was in her books and of course her brother. 
Nothing good lasts for ever, and will Neevah finally get her wish? Will she regret it? Find out in the first book of the series, Isolation.

Have you ever dreamt of a world with no adults? admit it, you thought it would be great right? no-one to tell you what to do or tell you off, but for a young girl of the age of sixteen, this is her life. Everything around her begins to change and what once was supposed to be a great adventure turns into a tale of drama, love, and betrayal. Everyone she is fighting for aren't the same people they once were and Remi is changing too, but is it for better or for worse? Her little group try to survive but as time goes on Remi begins to believe that if the apocalypse doesn't end soon she will die and quickly learns that trusting the wrong people could be fatal.

zombie apocalypse | the fallen (book One) [REWRITING] by optic_poison

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.
