Call Me Lost, Child (On Hold Until Summer)

Akila, an orphan, has endured the pain, the loss, the abuse, the use ... Every foster home has treated her like she is worth nothing, and after awhile her social service agent sends her somewhere else.
Ruth Johnson, her new guardian. She shows hope for this lost girl and even teaches her of God, a new hope for her, but she doesn't know enough to have much faith.
After meeting a mysterious guy in a place Akila would never suspect, her hiding place in the magical looking forest. Things start turning good in her life, but if only she knew it was temporary.
Things are after her, something she knows nothing of. She sees shadows in her room, when the lights are on, she hears sounds when she's home alone, she feels a strange presence around her.
Akila does not know what's going on, but Ruth does and so does her mystery guy, kind of.
Now she has to cling to God harder than before before her mother's last words repeat themselves in her, only if she falls into the dark side.
As her mother said, so clearly for the last time, "Call Me Lost, Child."
