It can mean Darling.
It can mean Doofus. 

It can mean anything.
The story of my life can exactly fit the letter "D". 

It can also be the start of a question. 
Do you wish to proceed?
Do you wish to solve this mystery?
Did you do this? 
Do you want to be my #1? 

All of my life starts with a letter D anyway. I don't think I could tell you the entire story without mentioning a single D. What is with this letter D that fascinates me?
