My Safekeeping

"I look at the broken boy who sits across the room from me. His blonde hair covers his left bright blue eye. I really want to know his story. He then slowly looks up at me. We lock eyes. 'Should I say something to him? Or shouldn't I?' I slowly look down at my hands and nibble at the bottom of my lip.

"Hi... I'm Niall..." I hear a soft voice from across the room say

I look up towards the broken boy. Was he actually talking to me? Finally. I see him looking at me. Trying to smile, but barely can.

"Hi.... I'm Ashley..." I say softly

Ashley is just 17 years of age and she suffers from depression, anxiety, and self harm. To have someone very close pass away is very difficult. Ashley found out that her best friend, Lili had just passed away. She didn't know how to cope with herself so she got took to the Mental institution. As she is there, there is the same teens as her facing the same problem as her. Depression, anxiety, and selfharm. When she meets Niall Horan her stay at the mental clinic is perfect..... Why is that though?
