Cyrus Black is miserable. His sister has been in the hospital for months now following a run-in with the deranged serial killer 'Red Reaper'. Her critical condition is unchanged, and the money their now deceased parents left for them is nearly gone. Cyrus has taken to working several jobs, which last from early morning to late at night, giving him only precious minutes to visit with his baby sister. The only real social interaction he gets is from his estranged friend, Fors Esser. So what happens when a lunatic and a miserable try to find a serial killer who isn't even human? Nothing good.
