She is currently living with her father in Philadelphia. Her mother is living in North Carolina with her mother. Her mother and her father got a divorce 11 years ago and haven't spoken since then.

Anyway, Charlotte's life is fine until her boyfriend breaks up with her. And she soon comes to find out that he was cheating on her for two months now.

Her heart is split in two but, then she meets a new guy named, Derek J. Anderson. She completely falls for him but, as soon as everything starts going good for Charlotte something happens that leaves a big gap in her life.
