Meet Kate Wilkerson, writer, single and desperate for some inspiration.
Visiting the beach next to her house to get inspiration seems to not do the trick anymore, but meeting John Dexter, the guy who persists in taking her on a date might just give her a little help. Of course the involvement of Seth Williams, Kate's biggest enemy on the story will complicate things a little bit, but love always finds his way around!

The Lost Alicorn
I think we can all agree on that we had a thirst to go beyond our comfort zone at least once. Whether it was a different town, state. or country, it was exciting in a way to go explore once in a while. This excitement is what leads the two mane characters of this story to discover an island that's inhabited by alicorns and mystical creatures of every kind. It seems like a diamond mine, until the diamonds start dissapearing. Now, it's up to the younger sister to find out who's causing it before it's too late. Allyson has a single mom. That is until she announces she's getting married. Everything happens so fast that she never meets the guy until the wedding held in their backyard. This is when she meets the guy she'll be calling her step dad. After the stressful night of meeting all these new people, Allyson finds herself on the rooftop, slightly drunk. With a bottle in hand, a guy her age joins her. They share the bottle and one thing leads to another. After their kiss that night, they head separate ways. The next morning, the guy is still there. Their parents formally introduce them as their children. They both find themselves in unmarked territory. As much as Allyson wishes she didn't like him, she can't control her feelings. Stealth Journeys with the Steam Mapper
A 2019 Wattys entry deeply into climate change, global warming, and environmental destruction, especially the nuclear kind! A lot of true facts are embedded in this story which has both true and fictional characters. Who is to be believed is for you to decide. The chapters are many but many are short. Still, it is a full-sized novel with promise for future adventures. Plot: An international crew of scientists board a large state-of -the art oceanographic vessel privately funded by an anonymous source. The itinerary is to travel down the west coast of the Americas and travel the South Pacific to Antarctica. The team plans to visit many known sites of hydrothermal vents using a device called the MAPR, searching vents for a bacterium that seems promising in use as a way to fight carbon dioxide emissions. But one of the two junior scientists on the team soon realizes that secrets are being kept, and makes promises to keep some, while learning that some onboard have entirely different agendas. To complicate matters, this junior scientist's desire for a special friendship grows in intensity, just as mysterious murmurings and strange sightings intensify.
