Thousands of years ago there was a moon and a sun. They co-existed in the sky. Many people back then thought of it that way, that when the sun went away the moon would soon follow. Now people know that it was a never ending love story that went on an endless cycle. Finally a few years ago the moon finally found its love. When they met there was a fabulous celebration all throughout the streets of Genovia. Many fathers had their children on their shoulders to see the fabulous lights that came when the sun and the moon finally had their reunion of a forbidden love. Couples kissed, children danced, and flowers fell from the sky. The king and the queen had previously arranged for the towns flower keeper to rain flowers down on their beloved subjects. There was so much celebration that night that no one missed that their king and queen were missing. They were inside the castle, witnessing the birth of their child.
