In this Snow White retelling, Princess Wynter is grieving over her father's death when her stepmother, Queen Lucinda, asks Wynter to marry her son, Prince Andrew. Wynter refuses him again, knowing he is not the man he makes everyone believe.
While Wynter struggles to learn how to rule a kingdom on her own, her stepmother decides to take a different course of action to ensure her son becomes king.
Will the queen succeed in getting rid of Wynter and making her son king? Or will Wynter be able to live long enough to save her kingdom?
