"What do you think about before you go to bed every night?" Jay asked, looking at Madeline as she watched the sun-setting sky turn into a display of stars.
Madeline shrugged. "I really don't know. Maybe what will happen tomorrow?"
"You don't think about your future? What you want in life?"
"Jay quit going all deep on me!" Madeline giggled, giving him a bit of a shove on the arm. "But to be honest, when I think about the future, it scares me. I don't want to live in a quiet house. I don't want to be buried alone in a grave. I don't want to feel pain. I want to live in the moment, enjoy the times we have now. Don't you ever just think, 'Man, I'm just gonna have fun with this, see where this goes, and I will have another story to tell for tomorrow'?"
"Nope. And I thought you told me not to go all deep on you," Jay laughed. He ran his hand through his hair as some of it fell in front of his face.
"What do you think about every night?" Madeline redirected the question.
"I think about who I will spend the rest of my life with."
"You are really cliché, you know that? Like I said, just don't think for once." Madeline sighed.
"Hey Mads?" Jay nudged her side. Madeline looked over to Jay.
When he didn't say anything, she spoke up, "What do ya need?"
Jay shook his head. "Nothing. Never mind."

Madeline is a girl who is outgoing, smart, and has a great personality in which everyone wants to know.
Jay is extremely shy, but only brings out the self he is inside to Madeline.
