He gets the attention he has tried so hard to avoid not only from the judgmental, stereotypical, label-filled swarm of teenagers, but by the guy who makes him weak at the knees. River finally decides to get close to someone, and that someone just so happens to be the boy who jumped into his outnumbered match up.
