Legends say that Holders of the Saber Cards possess divine abilities, enough to protect all of mankind. There were a total of 20 Holders in the world, with their powers passed down through generation after generation. However, there were seven special Saber Cards that lend the user godlike abilities and whoever holds those cards are named to be the Guardians of Humanity. They bestow peace and justice in the world, but the power of the Seven Holy Saber Holders suddenly disappeared completely since the last one hundred years and were thought to never return to restore balance in the corrupted world... Or so what everyone believed. 

Sawyer Zarion was just an ordinary 19 year old boy. He had a loving family, a good education, a trustworthy group of friends, and was able live on his own with no problem. War between the government and an extremely large force of rebellion has erupted and has been raging on for decades. Many believed that only the Holders of the Saber Cards could restore balance back into the world, but Sawyer thought of it being nothing but a folktale. However, everything all changed when he was chosen to become one of the Seven Holy Saber Holders of his generation. Before he knew it, Sawyer's life had completely turned upside down when he's depended on to use his newly found powers to protect, not only himself and his loved one, but all of humanity from destruction.

The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.
