The plan was to have just a collection of short stories that I'm writing for the month of June but stuff happened so now its a summer thing. Go check out this post on my tumblr ( http://basicallydanax.tumblr.com/search/30+days+of+nonsense ) if you want to see the list of prompts I'm using. I do not update this regularly, it just kind of happens, but I do go in order. Some stories are longer than others but I hope you can appreciate the longer ones.

A few seasons ago, I participated in NaNoWriMo with the goal of writing a story a day for the entire month of November. I was able to do this and ended up with well over 50,000 words for the month. This book ended up with around 43K words, but it is missing a few stories. I didn't want to put anything that goes with "Pearls of the Mother" in the "Illogies." Each day I sat down to write, I had a different mood or something else I was thinking about, and I let that guide my writing process. I think a couple of these may end up with follow-on stories or maybe even books of their own. I hope you enjoy these; I know I do.

Over the Wall: A Collection of Short Stories (NaNoWriMo 2014) by emmernemmer

This year for NaNoWriMo, I am writing a short story anthology. It will feature thirty or so short stories (my hope is to write one per day to fulfill my 1,667 per day word requirement) about varying things. Each morning, I will randomly select a number between one and thirty and I will look at the corresponding list of first lines I will have. I will take that line and write a short story using it and then the next day I will do the process over again (some stories might relate to each other, some might not). Anyway I will edit the story for that day and post it here. It may not be posted exactly on the corresponding day, but in the end there will be thirty short stories. P.S. Although these are somewhat edited they are still rough drafts so please treat them as such.

THE MONTH IS OVER AND I DID NOT COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE. I WILL POST MORE OF THE MAIN STORY AT A LATER DATE.
