Rick wrapped his arms around me before we all heard horns from outside.

We all ran to the front of the prison and opened the door to find a drone releasing a small bucket.

"What the hell?" Daryl asked, grabbing my pistol and attempting to shoot it out of the sky.

The bucket hit the ground and Rick ordered no one to touch it.

He slowly walked over to it before pulling out a rolled up piece of paper with ribbon tied around it.

"You've been great entertainment. We see everyone that's alive in this world, and we must say you're all hell of competitors. Congratulations, you've made it to phase three-- the final round of decontamination. No one will make it out of phase three alive. To celebrate phase two, dinner will arrive at six o'clock sharp. Enjoy." Rick read from the paper.

"You're going to die soon, enjoy." Rosita sarcastically replied.

"I knew it." Eric mumbled.

"So we've been the Government's TV show for how long? Eight years now?" Enid asked.

"They want entertainment? Let's give them entertainment." I stated, looking around at everyone.

This is the third installment of the series. First book is HAVEN, second book is CEASE, and the third book is this one. You don't have to read the other ones, but everything will make more sense if you do. Thanks for reading!

Mentions of death, suicide, SA, blood, harsh language and gore. Note #1: 90% of all characters and storylines all are based off of the TV Show and comic series The Walking Dead. I do not take credit for these characters. Note #2: Some storylines are changed to better fit my ideas for how this story will go. Not everything will be like how you see on tv. Note #3: There is smut in this book. I wasn't originally planning on it but due to popular demand, there is a handful of smutty chapters that will be appearing. You're welcome. Note #4: This book was originally named "Sheriff's Lover ||| Rick Grimes x Reader (TWD x Reader)" but after further review, I decided to turn Y/N into an OC. I'm sorry if this comes as a surprise to some of my older readers. Started: January 17th, 2023. Changed from x reader to OC on: December 3rd, 2024.
I'm Not My Father's Daughter: Carl Grimes Fanfiction by BrittWillis19
49 parts Complete
Carl Grimes's life was great. He had both parents, a ton of friends, and a great role model. His dad was a sheriff at the King's County Police Department, while his mom was a stay at home mother. His role model just so happened to be his dad's best friend and partner at the station, Shane Walsh. Carl was content with his life. What more could he want? Emily Walsh was a good girl. She would anything to please her mother, who was never around. Straight A's, teacher's pet, the quiet student who never got in trouble, etc. Though she didn't have friends, she excelled in school. Home life was quite different. Her mother was an EMT for the city of Atlanta and worked long hours, leaving Emily home alone with her studies and Ms. Ella, her nanny. Emily's father was a sore subject that her mother would never speak of. As far as Emily knew, her father didn't know she existed, but that would change... By fate, Carl and Emily meet, but only by a tragedy. Their lives are shaken up and rearranged. Not only does their first impression and encounter suck, but so does their future. As time goes on, they see each other as best friends and are inseparable, but will that change when the dead start walking? All rights go to Robert Kirkman and AMC. The only character I own is Emily and my added characters. I do not own The Walking Dead or any of their characters. #1 shanewalsh: May 10, 2018 #1 carlgrimesfanfiction: February 22, 2019 #2 rickgrimes: October 13, 2019 #1 carl: April 10, 2020 Started: October 1, 2017. "Is that a damn dog?" Merle asked Daryl, who had paused to light a smoke stopped, just before the lighter touched the cigarette. Looking towards the house he sees the familiar white and black speckled fur, stained with red. "Son of bitch." He hisses, the lighter and cigarette hitting the ground as he raced to the house. Merle was confused but was fast on his brother's heels, they bust into the house and found it was quiet besides the sound of dishes clattering in the sink and water swishing. They share a look before entering the kitchen, there they spot their sister. Aspen stood at the sink with her back to them, washing dishes as their father sat at the table eating and drinking. Merle stayed in the doorway of the kitchen, watching his younger siblings as Daryl approached their sister like she was a spooked fawn. Daryl kept his voice gentle as he spoke "The hell happened?" She didn't face him, didn't make a sound, but he noticed how she scrubbed harder at the pan, chipping some of the coating. "I shot that damn dog." Daryl faced his father, anger settling in his gaze "What?" Updates every Saturday or Sunday.
