but what happens when HYDRA is thrown in the picture.
When bucky fell off that train she fell too. Hydra found them but them and turned them into the winter soldier and winter. Two soldiers with no memory of the past. Two complete killers.
The winter soldier and her are very protective of each other in HYDRA, they wont ever spar each other, and never forget each other no matter how many times there memories are erased though they can't remember just how close they only remember they mean a lot to each other.
But what happens when Steve finds out that his best friend AND sister are still alive even after 70 years. Will he have any sanity left.

Confused, the Winter Soldier, aka Bucky, wonders around the streets of New York. He can't go back to HYDRA, they would wipe his memory again. And he wants to remember. He want's to remember who Steve was, the man that he was ordered to kill but was also claimed to be his best friend. He somehow stumbles into a woman's apartment named Amelia, looking for medical help, and for some reason, Amelia decides to help him. As she finds out more about him, she decides to teach him how to live like a human in the 21st century and also helps him to remember his past. But disaster strikes as HYDRA finds Bucky, and when they try to find Steve they also find out that unfortunately he has been kidnapped by HYDRA too. And so their first mission begins. Bucky Barnes starts to remember his life before he became the Winter Soldier. After the events of Washington, he had wanted to run away and hide. He knew people would come looking for him, especially Hydra and the Avengers. Hidden away in a remote town, on the outskirts of Maine, Bucky tries to live a simple life without drawing attention to himself. Little does he know, he had been followed. ***** Alexandria (Lexi) Adams, was one of the best shadow agents of SHIELD. She was one that Fury trusted with everything, including her judgement. Fury knew that having the Winter Soldier on their side, would be beneficial, not to mention, it would stop Rogers from turning down missions he was needed on. Lexi follows Barnes from a distance, helping to set him up with a home and job, without him knowing it was her. She had moved in to the apartment across from him, playing the friendly neighbour, which was a feat in itself. Lexi was never considered a friendly type of person. It was her mission, to help keep him safe, recover his past, and obtain any Hydra information. She makes sure to bump into him, while shopping for groceries, introducing herself, but she finds he's very closed off and guarded. Can she get through to him, or will he up and run again?
