She didn't know it yet, but he was on the hunt for the same thing. She stumbled upon a creature that looked like a half dog half human with a mask and a necklace of bloody fingers and ears. It was eating the flesh of a dead man. The sight made her sick to her stomach, and the creature targeted her next. That's when the man she saw in the distance intervened. He had some kind of training to fight something like that, and the woman had to go through it now too.
