I close my locker after I get all my supplies needed for my classes for the day and I see a guy there...but why was he there?! That's an empty locker,no one's locker. I can't help but glance and watch him since I've never seen him before,maybe he was new?! The strange thing is my inner wolf was going crazy and I hold it in.

I curled under the jungle gym and cried my eyes out. Suddenly a shadow hovered over me. I looked up saw a boy about my age staring at me with a Unknown expression. He bent down and wiped away my tears with the pad of his thumbs. I immediately stopped crying and looked into his bright Emerald eyes. "Why are you crying?" He asked and I looked down. "Because I know that'll never make friends here" I said quietly. He was quiet for a minute before finally speaking up. "I'll be your friend" he said quietly while looking into my eyes. I smiled a toothy grin. "Really!?" I asked and he nodded his head. My first mistake had been re-noticing people in my classes, if I hadn't done that; I wouldn't have re-noticed Tristan Everdeen. I should have known that the moment I had become entranced in those eyes of his-silver, deep, contemplative-that things never would be the same. But of course, I didn't. Because since when does life let you off the hook and just allow you to know those kind of things? *NOTE: This story was written when I was much younger and doesn't reflect my current views on healthy relationships.
