My Darling, You're Dead

"Stigmata?" she stated to herself more than asked, setting her duffle bag down on their water damaged floor from countless nights spent scrubbing blood out of the wood with soapy water and Murdock's shirts because it was his mess and she had to clean it up.

"Yeah, stigmata, that's it." He swerved around her, pecking her cheek softly as he did, then slammed the limp body he had over his shoulder onto the ground, right next to her duffle.

She looked at him, boring holes into the back of his head, "Murdock..." she stressed.

"Yes, Olivia, my darling?" He gushed as he turned his head slightly to blow a kiss and flutter his eyelashes her way as she flipped him off and threw herself onto their grimy sofa with a huff, Murdock getting back to the body to start with removing their clothes.

"Get your life together."

Olivia is tired of her life and after an emotional episode and an exhausting encounter with a very weird woman, she contemplates death via jumping a bridge. But then it turns out she was the wife of a vampire in a past life and after a bite (and maybe a punch) memories start to come back slowly and she couldn't possibly want to die more in that moment than any other time in her life. Kinda.
