Arianna Rivers had been a protecter ever since she was nine years old (in the current era that is). When she was eight, she was chosen to be in a program to help and protect the supernatural that they deemed as good. Arianna's parents had also been in the program since they were little. One day, the rivers family was called to beacon hills to help protect a pack against another pack with a leader who seems to have alpha issues, a giant werewolf who looks like it a terrifying halloween prop, and three doctors who can't science.
When seeing the pictures of the people she would be protecting Arianna is faced with what she believes is a döppleganger, two as a matter of fact, a boy who looks exactly like her dead ex boyfriend, and the boy who she thought she killed for murdering her dead ex boyfriend. But pushing all thoughts aside, Arianna has no idea what she's in for.

Remaining both physically & mentally intact within the confines of Beacon Hills wasn't always a struggle for Rachel Hale.
