Each of us supposedly has a place in life, a purpose if you will. I believed that we can choose our own paths to get to this purpose, well I believed that up until I found out the truth. Truth is, the choices that we make are premeditated. Everything we do is decided before we are even born, and then there's me. My purpose in life was to die, but my "guardian angel" disagreed.

Unable to age, unable to die. So many people want me, but they can't have me. They want to experiment on me and use my blood to make more people like me. The balance of the universe is all about the balance of the forces. If one power is stronger than another then the earth would literally turn upside down and everyone and everything would die or cease to exist- that is in theory. I thought it was some hoax to make sure that the on going war between the heavens and the underworld does not end and underworld forces do not win. What if it is true and all I have to do is make everything right and we all go back to our lives? I knew there was always something special about me. I knew I was different from all the other girls. I could feel things before they actually happened, hear things nobody else could. I wasn't normal, there was just something there. In no way though, had I expected to be told that not, was I only half human, but 50% angel, and not an angel of heaven. A fallen angel, damned, yet given a second chance to make things right, to be rescued before taking the wrong turn in my life that shamed me from my existence in heaven. Only problem, someone wants me to stay damned, to never become the angel I was meant to be. They'll stop at nothing to kill me, plus I have no clue what exactly I'm fighting against and on top of it all I am nothing without my locket.
