Gerard is fourteen and still afraid of the dark. The dark can only lead to bad things. But maybe his fear will help him get closer to Frank Iero. Frank Iero is Gerard's neighbor, and his older brother's best friend. Gerard has liked Frank for as long as he can remember, but knows he hardly has a chance with the tattooed boy, in fact, the majority of the school wishes they had a chance with Frank. Frank could probably have anyone he wants. But what Gerard doesn't know is that the only one Frank wants is Gerard.
