Grant Erickson is a boy from Silvercloud, a Valkryie Village. His moms, his sister, and himself have lead a pleasant but simple life in Silvercloud ever since he was adopted. One day, his moms decide to stop sheltering him and send him to get an education. They ship him out to Creeper's Creek, a desert town on the mainland to start school at Nether Ridge Crafting Academy(or NRCA), much to his dismay.
  
  Jay Ellis has lead a hectic and boring life in Enderville for as long as he could remember. Him, his mother, and siblings have been staying in the same place doing the same thing. The rest of his family is content with it, but being the daredevil he is, he longs for more adventure. So when his mom wants him to go to school at the infamous NRCA on the mainland, he is ecstatic.
  
  In Creeper's Canyon, these boys cross paths and become close friends, also meeting two others that they enjoy the company of. But soon, they unlock a power bigger then themselves and an evil greater than any other.
