A Sea of Glass and Fire (Final Draft)

The Dome Web.

A society build on the side of a mountain, facing a lake, made from the one material that the planet has in abundance. Glass.
Every few days a storm roll by and glass falls from the sky in thick hot drops. When the clouds clear, harvesters are sent to gather what it they left behind.

It is raining again.
Lightning crashes, leaving craters in its wake. Toxic clouds fill the air.

Teyla Challis is caught outside in a glass storm, and she's running out of time.

The essence of the story is the same, but the buildup, payoff, and everything in between is much more satisfying in this edition.
