The Dome Web.
A society build on the side of a mountain, facing a lake, made from the one material that the planet has in abundance. Glass.
Every few days a storm roll by and glass falls from the sky in thick hot drops. When the clouds clear, harvesters are sent to gather what it they left behind.
It is raining again.
Lightning crashes, leaving craters in its wake. Toxic clouds fill the air.
Teyla Challis is caught outside in a glass storm, and she's running out of time.

This is the Final draft of a story I wrote some time ago and then revised for publication. If you want to read the original version, look for "A Sea of Glass and Fire (Original Draft)". The essence of the story is the same, but the buildup, payoff, and everything in between is much more satisfying in this edition. You can, of course, read both and see a little into how I improve my work.

Transported: A Wings of Fire Story
Imagine being suddenly transported into your favourite book series. That's what happened to Daniel lorence when he was transported into the fictional land of Phyrria. Desperate to find a way back home, he embarks on a journey, meeting familiar faces along the way. However, when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel finds himself on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when something starts to pull the strings on his mind and the world around him, it's clear something much more sinister is on the horizon. As such, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to choose. Whether living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: Things may seem off within the story such as: A confusing timeline, unexplained plot holes, out of character reactions, etc. All I can say is that they're in there on purpose for the most part and will be explained as you read through the story. 《Murderous Tsunami AU》 ~~Tsunami finally has the crown she deserves~~ Tsunami loves her friends, even though they always yammer on about the dragons she's killed. And it was only THREE DRAGONS! Gill, that SkyWing from the patrol, and lastly her mother. And she killed all of those dragons for her and her friends' safety. Now that she's the queen of SeaWings she can FINALLY do what ever she needs without her friends getting in the way. And if they try anything it wouldn't hurt to put them in the dungeon, right? Clay made a promise to Tsunami a long time ago that he would always be her best friend no matter what. But it is hard to keep a promise like that when Tsunami has been constantly sending dragons to be executed. As time goes on Tsunami becomes worse and worse, to the point to where Clay can no longer ignore it and pretend everything's fine. But how can he stop Tsunami and be her friend at the same time? Would he have to choose one or the other? Turtle was always just a nobody in the sea. Then out of of blue Turtle loses his mother and father in one day, and his new sister, Tsunami, who seems to have popped out of nowhere, becomes the queen of the SeaWings. He was almost certain that she had some kind of evil inside her, but who would stop her, where was the hero? Turtle didn't know until he met and saved someone, who told him he was the hero. But can a nobody orphan really be a hero? Expect Tsunami and other character to act differently, but they will mostly be themselves (besides Tsunami). There is a Great War. Kingdoms are falling rapidly, loved ones are lost, and hope is scarce. But when Kassa discovered a secret, everything changes. When Serta's Kingdom it burnt to the ground, him and his survivors are at loss for what to do. Luckily, they manage to bump into some people who help tug them out of their sorrow and confusion. On their journey lots of interesting characters and animals are introduced. (It's fantasy if you didn't get that.) HOWEVER, If you are homophobic don't read this matey. 👍🏼 because it DOES include LGBTQ+ ⚧ any hate comments will be deleted and you will be blocked.
