Farren Lawell has always dreamed of going to Hogwarts. But when she was 5 years old, something terrible happened, and it seemed the dream would never come true. Every month from then on, countless scars marred her body. Not even the healers at St. Mungo's could make them disappear.

Her parents did everything they could to protect her, moving whenever they got a complaint from the monthly howls and yelps. Farrens mother and father brought her along to their veterinary clinic to busy her, but she was still terribly lonely.

But one day, the return of a Magical bird changed her life. And it seemed out of some miracle, her dream might actually be possible. But will she be able to protect her secret once new friends and foes meet her?

With the growing threat of He Who Must Not Be Named, the pressure to protect herself and those around her, and the added dramas of being in a new school, how will Farren manage?

Rebecca Lupin-Tonks is the daughter of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks. You could say she's your average 16 year old girl just starting her first...well should I say 4th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Witchery but that's far from the truth of what you know about her and her family. She's close with her parents and of course knows that they're different. With her father being a werewolf and her mother being a Metamorphmagus, Rebecca always wondered if she would be like her father or mother and well she hasn't found that out yet... Growing up with them was strange and let's just say it wasn't easy. Lupin was always so scared and insecure about being a werewolf and raising a child; fearing that they'll be just like him but after marrying the love of his life, he didn't want to leave or abandon either so he tried... Rebecca has heard many many stories about both her parents and how they were in Hogwarts and how they became they are the way that they are and Rebecca was never once scared of her parents, she never feared the ones who birthed and raised her and that made their lives a little easier and both parents loved their daughter to pieces even if she was a bit of a wildflower...However to keep her safe incase she turned out to be like her parents, they homeschooled her... But now being 16, she wanted to go to Hogwarts and she wanted to see what the fuss was about and well with a lot of negotiation, her father became the new Defense Against the Arts teacher and allowed her to go and made sure to keep a close eye on her and Rebecca was so excited... So what happens when she arrives at Hogwarts? What house will she get sorted in? Will she find new friends? Fall in love? Will she discover that she's like her parents in some way?

Marauder era: Lily takes a look back at her last year at Hogwarts. A story full of twists and turns. Her time with Severus and the love they shared. Her relationships with James, Sirius and Remus. This is a story filled with love, loss, anger, betrayal and redemption. How much would the story have changed if Severus's mistakes were a little different? What would have changed if Severus had changed sides sooner? Would Lily forgive him, would her choices be different? How would James, Sirius and Remus play into her life with these changes? Had these things happened along with a chance at redemption and a lot of forgiveness the boy who lived story could have been a lot different. This story does not follow canon exactly, it is my personal take on how things should have been. Updates will be frequent. I do not own any thing. All credit goes to JK Rowling.
