The Society is ruler and their rules are law. You follow them they make sure you don't die. You don't you won't make it till midnight. Or at least that's what Grey thought.

Grey is a social outcast living in the year 5054 as a member of The Society. Her family is bound to a punishment set years ago. Grey has to watch her step because one wrong move could lead to her untimely demise. Each and every day she hides out in the shadows making sure nobody knows her secrets. Even her real name can't be shared with anyone. She always said she'd earn back her family's good name, but now that's the last thing on her mind. She wants revenge.

Bird and Jay are sister and brother who live a life freer than the one The Society gives. They fend for themselves in an old abandoned city. Each day is a test of survival and trust. They patrol their borders and gather what food they can. In all reality The Society isn't really that far away but they still have their freedom. Bird has killed before and would do it again if she had to. Jay tries to protect her at all costs, but can he.

Allison is a member of The Society with a lot of power, and when she learns about Bird, Jay and Grey all hell breaks loose. She wants all three of them to be held as prisoners to The Society. She knows what they are capable of and she doesn't want anyone else to. She also knows about Grey's little name issue, what Bird wants and who Jay wants to see again.

What happens when when all their live collide and when Allison offers up what each of the three desire for a price that is almost impossible to pay . Will they pay the price to get what they have wanted all their lives.
