Josie the good girl who always follows the rules, is a straight A student, and always listens to her older bother, Kyle. Josie returns home after a year being out of state for school, she learns that she doesn't have to listen to everything her brother tells her to do. While home for the summer, the bad boy of the town, Kendall takes an interest in Josie. Kyle doesn't want Josie to have anything to do with Kendall so he does everything in his power to keep Josie away from him.
