Navy's girl
Clara and Daniel have been best friends all their life. They did everything together they even have the same birth day, except Daniel is 2 years older. He promised to always be there and protect her after an incident in the past. On his eighteenth and her sixteenth birthday he broke that promise to always be there for her. The day after their birthday he left for the navy for 4 years. During those for years he emailed, texted, called, Skyped and wrote when ever he had the chance. Every day he did one of those things. When she would answer back she would be fine. Only did he not know is something happened to her during those four years and she was never the same again. Bentley yelled running in the kitchen from the foyer. "Is she, well lets go see" I say wiping my hands on my apron, walking to the front door. As I open the door I see a Marine standing there in his uniform with a few envelopes in his hand. "Are your Alana Kelsall?" he asks in a kind voice. Confused I reply "Yeah I am please, call me Anna." as Bentley peeks out from behind my legs. I have this really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that I know what this is about. "I'm General R. Paul, on behalf of the United States Marine Corps, we are sorry to tell you that Captain Damon Norris was killed in the line of duty. These are for you." He says handing me the two envelopes. <3 Damon and Anna have been best friends since they were in diapers. Their families are close friends. When Damon was 18 he decided to join the forces, more specifically the Marines; following in his grandfather's footsteps. He had only one week after basic training to see his family before being deployed to Iraq for 4 years.
