In the universe wider than what the eyes can see, the planet Alchemy was filled with over a zillion types of species. There were three species in particular with very distinctive features from the rest.

The Chameleons were public enemy number one with the ability to take the forms of any types of species large or small.

The Hunters were public hero number one with the unique ability to detect any Chameleon far or near and eliminated them ruthlessly.

Then there were the Shadows unknown to the rest but exist solely to serve the Chameleons. If ranking orders were placed, they would be dead last.
