Until she's placed in a 'college prep' program that isnt what it seems. Everyone stares at her like she's a bomb set to explode, including her best friends. She's also starting to do things she shouldn't be able to. Just when things can't seem to get any weirder, the most popular guy in school (who she happens to hate) starts to show an interest her. 

James has it good. He's popular, gorgeous, smart and funny. I guess you could say his only fatal flaw is he isn't human. Well, actually if you know how society ACTUALLY functions, that's considered a good thing too.
