“Giddy up, horsey!” I shouted while I ran around the room and acted like I was riding a horse.
“Yee haw!” shout Danny as he copied my movements.
“Yippy ki yay!” shouted Lena as she ran around the room also. I came to stop in front of the classroom and I looked at Lena and Danny who stopped beside me.
“Howdy y’all! Ain’t this day great?” I said to Danny.
“Lawdy! It sure is a purdy day!” Danny agreed.
“Darn tootin’! I reckon that we be eatin’ corn dogs out yonder,” Lena tells me.
“Sho’ nuff! We ain’t wastin’ a purdy day like this one,” Danny says.
“Well be better be leavin’ lickety spilt now,” I told Danny and Lena.
“I was fixin’ to leave any ways,” Danny confirms.
“Gosh darn it! Looky hyeer! The time must have passed on by us!” exclaimed Lena.
