The Crow Flies At Dawn

"Ne, Iwasawa, promise when we get older that no matter what we'll always be together?" Hisako asks quietly as they stand together in the shade of a tree as its leaves slowly shift in the wind. Iwasawa smiles shyly at the thought of such a thing...the weight of the words bore a burden that they would both shoulder. "I..." Iwasawa starts, but her words were interrupted by someone else calling to them both. "Oi, Hisako, Iwasawa, lets move out." Hisako grins, not expecting her to have answer anyways, she says "We're coming sensei!" Her gaze meets with Iwasawa's, leaning over and whispering in her ear she adds "I'll wait for your answer patiently...even if its an eternity." Leaving Iwasawa dumbfounded when her hand cups a piece of hair behind her ear; she leaves with the wind whipping at her to be the only sign she was even there. "Iwasawa...hey snap out of it!" Sekine calls her friend out of the daze she was in. "What's wrong, your all spacy." Looking up, Iwasawa sighs, "If only you knew."
