The Blades

In the middle of the ocean, far from any coast, lies two neighbouring islands. Locally called "The Blades" these eponymous islands' name is derived from their striking resemblance to two immense shoulder blades, rumoured to belong to some ancient creature that had died at sea. Few people made the perilous journey to these islands, fewer still returned. And those who returned were never unchanged... So why would anyone wish to attempt it?

Legend tells of ancient artefacts that, when combined, contain immense power. Many adventurers have went in search of these artefacts over the years, and none had yet to be successful.
