Blood covered the walls as the dome trapped in the screams and yells of our despair. Where was our liberation and freedom? We pushed it. Too far. We pushed our limits. Where were the others? He can't go high. H-he can't go high, only low, excluding his over tone. I was free from the chains, yet he wasn't. I turned around to see he green eyes filled with tears as he was chained against the wall having other prisoners of war grasping him in despair. His hair fell down from his head drooping over his face as he was being hung from the bars from hands to feet. He was the embodiment of misery. He grasped the ability to glance up at me and there was only one word that escaped from his lips ever so softly as he grimaced through the pain he felt from what the starving soon to be cannibals were doing.

"Humans. You always have to go sticking your nose where it just doesn't belong. There are repercussions but you silly mortals think everything revolves around you," he cooed in a deep voice. He turned me to face the wall and I felt his warm breath curling on my ear as he buried his nose in my hair. "Get off me. Let me go, creep," I tried to struggle out of his tight grip. He refused to let me go and let out a dark chuckle, a tight grip on my wrists as he pinned them to the wall by my head. He took one last deep breath. "You're going to learn not to go sneaking around, love," he smirked deviously. Before I could stop him he bit into the vein in my neck, taking deep gulps of the crimson liquid spilling onto my shoulder and seeping into the fabric of my shirt. I felt myself get dizzy and I curled into the man before falling into a deep sleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Imagine being forced into an entire other world you didn't even know existed. The guards grabbed me, forcing me to enter the room I didn't even want to be in. I didn't want to be here. I didn't want to be captured. And most of all I didn't want to see this mendacious pharaoh. I hated this man! Absolutely hated him. His eyes filled with intense hate as he stared at me. He looked at me with a bored expression on his face. "I thought I told you to bring me the rebel leader, not some vacuous little girl." Anger started boiling inside me. The guards were about to respond but I interrupted them. "Why Pharaoh! What makes you believe I am not the rebel leader?" He looked at me annoyingly."Well for one thing you're a girl" I was completely enraged! "How sexist! You think that just because I'm not a man I can't be a leader! People like you disgust me! It sickens me that I even looked up to you as a child! I idolized you! Followed you everywhere! Thought-" I quickly covered my mouth realizing I had said to much. This isn't how I imagined the situation when I finally saw him again. I couldn't control my anger around him. The pharaoh's board expression turned into a more interested one. "You talk as if we have met before but I have absolutely no clue who you are! By all means I'm interested.... What are you called?" This was really bad! If I told him my name he would kill all of my comrades too. I had to lie... For their sake. "Neith..." The Pharaoh's eyes quickly snapped to me. "Let me rephrase my previous question... Tell me your FULL name and don't you dare give a fake one either or I will slaughter every single member of the rebel army... Even family members who weren't even involved will be killed." It was over! I couldn't let him kill all of those people. I guess my time was up now. He cornered me in to a wall. I was stuck with no other way out. "Safiya...Safiya Zahra." The Pharaoh's smile instantly turned into a frown. "That's impossible!" Well I think its safe to say he remembers me. "I was the one who killed you."

~Completed~ 'I'm bold.' 'I'm ever confident.' 'I don't give a fuck about what anyone thinks and have to say about me.' 'I'm who I am.' 'I'm Stella Downer.' That's how it has always been, but what happens when things don't go exactly the way she planned... ~~~ He said nothing more, he had a sly smile on his face as he ran his hands through his hair. No doubt he was gorgeous. No doubt he's got good lips. No doubt he got any girl he wanted. No doubt I'm having crazy thoughts right now. "You're my boyfriend's bestfriend" I blurted. "It doesn't matter, I respect that but he's the only thing standing between 'us'" he replied, his voice still as calm as ever like nothing was weird... Like 'THIS' was normal. "'We' are not possible" I said mustering all the courage I could, trying not to melt under his gaze. "Does it mean you're considering it?" He asked. I wanted to reply but I couldn't, I couldn't just make out words right now. Was I perhaps considering it? What is wrong with me?! I just stood there, staring at him, his eyes piercing into mine like he was trying to read me. There was something about those dark eyes I couldn't quite comprehend. His presence was doing something to me! Everywhere was suddenly so quiet. Where is everyone?! Few seconds later, his face was inches away from mine, I just hope it wasn't what I was thinking. Every foward motion he took, I equally took a step backwards till I felt my back hit against one of the lockers. I could have pulled out. I could have pushed him away. I could have walked away. I could have hit him or slapped him away from me. But I did nothing... My body felt numb. The only thing I could feel were the weird sensation inside me. We were a breathe apart. I could already feel his body heat... •••••• Book #1 of the Downer Sisters Series. CAN BE READ AS A STAND ALONE BOOK!

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. They came for me, when i had let my guard down. Even though i had expected the empire of the monsters and its accursed emperor to come at me with everything they had. They came for me when i had least expected them too, in a way i had least predicted them too, using the methods and tactics that made them, and made him for who he is. See...Peace can do that too a man. Hope can do that too a man. Light can do that too a man. It can make you lower your guard down. Even though i had honed my fists and mind, i would and I should not have lowered my guard down. Because i had done so, the people i cherished the most-the men and women of the cold valley, suffered for my negligence and my incompetency. And worst of all my little brothers and sisters paid them, with their future and their innocence. By doing this they caused a bloody war. By taking from me they instigated a bloodshed. and either of them they should not have done. For they should have learnt from their mistake long ago, it was not mercy that made me give their, and his life back to him-it was anger. pure and fresh in very format and flavor. And the thing about any war, and the thing about any battle, is that the demons are always the one's to dominate. Because they are the incarnation of carnage and death. My name is of no importance. But the moniker, and the epithet called The Demon of the Cold Valley that i use is of the greatest of significance. So this is my tale. This is my tragedy. But most of all this is my conquest, and pursuit of justice
