Brett is a transgender. His birth name was Brie, but upon realizing that he was transgender, he changed his name to Brett. When his dad gets a new job, his family has to move. They move to Buffalo, New York and settle in Williamsville. His new school is Heim Middle and he will start eighth grade there. Soon after starting school,
Brett has his eyes on a girl named Anna. They became friends and eventually decided that they should start dating. Brett knew that he had to tell Anna that he was transgender at some point, so he put his trust in her and told her. Anna turned out to be transgender too, except male to female. They keep their secret to themselves for as long as they can until people start finding out. Their love story is contained inside this story and if you want to follow it, I suggest you start reading.
