"This is none of your damn business whatsoever. But if you really must know, we came to the decision to end it together and it wasn't easy. Maybe if you pulled your head out of your ass you would've noticed."
"Fuck you, Gabe. I can't believe I invited you out to my grandpa's house and all you do is fuck me over. You can just pack your shit up and leave."
Raleigh turned swiftly and attempted to walk away, but Gabe's strong hand landed on his shoulder before I could stop him. Gabe's voice was cold and steely when he spoke again.
"I know you need someone to punch right now, Raleigh, but I can't be that guy. What happened between Addie and I is between us. And I know your parents have been fucking you up lately, and you're still on edge from your Grandpa's death, but you've got to express those emotions before you fucking blow up like this. I don't want to stay if you're going to be like this."
