Powerless [Book 1 in the Powerless Trilogy]

Jason Moore is normal. Absolutely normal. He dreams to be like his idols, the Heroes, a group of powerful individuals who use their Elemental Powers to battle the forces of the Dark. He dreams to be somebody important. Somebody to be remembered.
Then, his wish comes true. He is invited to be a member of the next Set of Heroes. He thinks this is the start of a new, exciting life.
But as time goes on, he realises that one by one, the others have all acquired their powers. He has not.
There are supposed to only be 6 Heroes. Instead there are 7. He is the 7th one. He is the odd one out. He is powerless.
